The Artist's Way, the top support group for people who want to find, own, and express their CREATIVITY.
The book by the same name by Julie Cameron will be used. It is
available in every bookstore, sometimes even found used, and on Amazon,
of course. Please find one not written in, as you'll want to make your
own notes. You'll also need a notebook dedicated to this course.
The
exercises are done on our own time, and our meetings will be a sharing
of our experiences with the exercises and the planning of the next
week's project. Meaningful connections are made, and our viewpoints
shaken up. I credit this group with my own recovery of my creative self.
Fee
is $250, with a $25 discount for women who have taken any of my
workshops. Cookies or brownies, fruit, coffee and water are provided.

EnTRANCING four day workshop based on sacred postures from a variety of Ancient Goddess traditions.
We
will make simple masks and costumes, and complete the rich weekend
experience with ritual and dance based on a mythic story derived from
our collective ecstatic trance experiences. Presented jointly by
Belinda Gore, Ph.D., president of The Cuyamungue Institute, and Merry Gant Norris.

The Goddess and Angel workshop runs Friday evening, all day Saturday (as late as necessary!) and Sunday.
Friday evening is an introduction to the workshop. We get to know the other attendees, what to expect and learn a brief history of the Goddesses and Angels in history. We talk about the symbols of the Goddesses in religion and society and we discuss your individual goals for the workshop. After that you will be guided through a beautiful meditation that will prepare you for the workshop and your intention for your painting. This meditation is rich in Goddess and Angel imagery and is very relaxing and inspiring.
Saturday is full of painting, collage and collaborative, creative fun. As you create your Goddess/Angel you will go through a process of discovery that will empower and regenerate you on your journey.
Sunday is a time of celebration and finishing touches if necessary. We spend time processing what we learned and we share in your Goddess and Angel experience together as a group.
